The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machado clobbers Lee with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Lee looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Machado is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lee. Lee looks like he wants to counter punch here. Lee checks a leg kick. Lee misses with a right hand and Machado counters with a nice uppercut. A telegraphed right hand from Lee misses the target. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Machado, as that shot connected.

Machado lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Machado takes a jab right on the kisser.

And that's the end of the fight! Lewis Lee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maven jabbing away but nothing is landing. Magetsu steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Maven. Magetsu scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Maven waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Magetsu. Maven throws a jab when Magetsu was well out of range. Magetsu looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Maven feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Magetsus jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Magetsu takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Maven loads up on a big right hand but Magetsu slips the punch. Good work by Maven as he checks the leg kick. Maven is looking for the big counter here. A kick lands to the mid section there for Magetsu. Magetsu lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Maven throws a solid leg kick but Magetsu takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Maven. Maven gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Maven misses with a looping left. Magetsu checks the leg kick. Maven connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It looks like Peter Walter has been cut. Walter shoots in looking for a takedown. Smith tries to sprawl out of it but Walter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Smith manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Walter takes one to the chin there. Horrible takedown attempt by Walter or perhaps it was just good defense by Smith, which made it look bad. Smith throws a quick counter head kick but Walter was just out of range. Walter shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Smith as he avoids it easily. Smith appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Mike Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Walter. Walter doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Smith to counter with a crisp jab. Walter scores with a head kick. Smith tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Walter fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Smith, pushing him back against the cage. Walter tries to pull guard but Smith holds him up against the cage and eventually Walter drops back down to his feet.

Smith is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Walter, into his guard. Walter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
