The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitsenbarger plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Jay Wilkins has been cut.
Pitsenbarger connects with an inside leg kick.
Wilkins throws a chopping leg kick but Pitsenbarger manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Wilkins dives in and grabs Pitsenbarger's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pitsenbarger pushes down on Wilkins's head and hops out.
Pitsenbarger lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Wilkins is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Wilkins works over Pitsenbarger's head and body with a nice combination.
Bill Pitsenbarger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pitsenbarger throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pitsenbarger lands a jab to the head.
Wilkins shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pitsenbarger as he avoids it easily.
Pitsenbarger buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Wilkins shoots in but Pitsenbarger avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Pitsenbarger ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Wilkins's jaw. Wilkins's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Pitsenbarger does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Gardner throws a nice looking combination but Tomas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gardner misses the shot to the body.
Tomas scores with a decent looking hook.
Gardner throws a low kick, looking for Tomas's leg but Tomas calmly moves out of range.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Tomas.
Tomas cracks Gardner with a good jab.
Tomas moves out of range as Gardner strikes.
Tomas stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gardner.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Putin feints and then cracks Kazarian's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kazarian down.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Putin has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Kazarian swats away the attempt to clinch by Putin.
Putin wants to clinch up but Kazarian keeps it at a distance.
Putin moves forwards but Kazarian connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Avreli has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Parker scrambles and gets back to his feet.
