0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joe Hendo! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Igor Prikhodko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hendo misses with a body shot.
Lebedev takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Hendo displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Hendo throws a leg kick that misses. Hendo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Lebedev looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lebedev landing some decent shots from guard. Lebedev chips away with some ground and pound. Hendo trying to control the position.
Lebedev keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hendo's head. Lebedev postures up in Hendo's guard and throws a big left but Hendo blocks it. Lebedev trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Lebedev's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's one minute gone in the round. Lebedev scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Lebedev is looking to work some ground and pound but Hendo has wrist control. Lebedev has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Lebedev stands and steps away. Hendo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Hendo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lebedev looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Hendo has his foot on Lebedev's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lebedev works his way back into a safe position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hendo looks gassed! Lebedev throwing strikes but missing. Lebedev throws a big right hand that misses. Lebedev working some strikes from top position. Lebedev throws a big right hand that misses. Lebedev postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

More strikes land and this one is all over! Lebedev jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Marek pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Lee looks to land a combination. Marek sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee slips a straight right by Marek . The fighters circling - Lee throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Marek shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lee as he jumps to the side. Marek misses with a straight right. A head kick from Lee lands but Marek takes it in his stride. Marek scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Lee slips under a jab. Lee blocks a jab. Marek takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Marek throws a big shot that misses. Marek throws a left and a right that both miss
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Lee blocks a jab. Marek misses with a looping right. Lee takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lee defending well as Marek loads up on a big left hand. Lee steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Marek . Lee connects with a high kick. Marek dodges the punch combination from Lee.
Lee takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Marek lands a jab-cross combination. Marek is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Marek throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Jaromir Marek has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Marek jabbing away but nothing is landing. Marek swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Lee counters with a leg kick. Lee scores with a kick to the body.
Lee is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Lee walks into a stiff left hand from Marek . Marek throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lee counters with a big head kick but Marek shrugs it off. Marek throws the left hand but Lee avoids the punch easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Tommy Lee showed his dominance in that final round. Well Lee has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Gaetz looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Gaetz lands a jab to ITappedOut's midsection. Gaetz misses with a low kick.
Link Gaetz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. ITappedOut shoots for a double leg takedown but Gaetz sprawls well. He's pushed ITappedOut's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Gaetz has his takedown stuffed and ITappedOut counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Gaetz! Gaetz wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gaetz is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. ITappedOut can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gaetz is looking to escape. ITappedOut goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Gaetz turns into him and now he's in ITappedOut's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. ITappedOut drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Gaetz is looking to stand up but ITappedOut isn't so interested in that idea. ITappedOut pushing down on Gaetz's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. ITappedOut working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
