Charles comes into the arena with Have Heart - Armed With A Mind blaring out of the sound system. Haapalainen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lentävä Kalakukko kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Charles steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Haapalainen. That one must have hurt.

Haapalainen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Charles sprawls well initially but Haapalainen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Charles is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Haapalainen has latched onto it... Big trouble! Haapalainen pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Charles is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Haapalainen!

Hoon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Montez circles away.
Hoon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hoon shoots in looking for a takedown. Montez tries to sprawl out of it but Hoon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Montez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Montez is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
