Mangrove lands a vicious elbow to the side of Tooth's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Mangrove tries to finish him with strikes but Tooth still seems able to defend himself so Mangrove steps back and lets Tooth get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
It looks like Sabre Tooth has been cut.
Mangrove has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tooth crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mangrove - the referee stops the clock and Tooth gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mangrove. Tooth manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Mangrove ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Tooth's jaw. Tooth's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Mangrove does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

We've been hearing good reports from Corrigan's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
