The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Henderson feints and as Hall raises his hands in defense, Henderson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Henderson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Henderson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Henderson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Hall working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Henderson.

Henderson postures up in Hall's guard and throws a big left but Hall blocks it.
Hall really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Henderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Henderson drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Henderson seems to have locked his on tight now - Hall screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Henderson, as he picks up the win!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Fortenberry avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fortenberry was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Rodriguez goes for a double leg but Fortenberry avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Fortenberry continues to drive forward.
It looked like Fortenberry wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
A right-left combo lands from Rodriguez.
A left and a right from Rodriguez both land. Nice combination.
Rodriguez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A little feinted left hand from Fortenberry on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Rodriguez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rodriguez.
Norbert Fortenberry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gilbert Rodriguez.

Fortenberry is working to tighten his grip on Rodriguez's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Rodriguez has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Fortenberry is really squeezing tight and eventually Rodriguez passes out! Fortenberry breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

We've been hearing good reports from Ruth's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Li tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Li moves into range and clinches up with Gouveia.
Li jumps guard but Gouveia stands there with Li around his waist. Li gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Trotter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Banks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Banks is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Banks drops back looking for a leg! Trotter is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Trotter manages to kick Banks off! Banks jumps back into Trotter's guard.
Trotter pulls Banks in close to his closed guard and prevents Banks from doing any damage or advancing position.

Muthaeffin steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Walker's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Walker just didn't come prepared.

Michaels is looking to defend but Gatmaitan has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Michaels! Gatmaitan pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Michaels taps out and this one is all over!

Firm scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Intagilokali doesn't seem bothered though.
Intagilokali looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Firm connects with a body shot.

and Firm counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Firm lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Firm looks to land a left hand but Intagilokali moved out of range nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
