Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Taj Gibson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anders Annorlunda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Annorlunda has chosen The Pogues - The Rocky Road To Dublin as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Taj Gibson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Anders Annorlunda! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Francis DeMontford and Topper Green.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Annorlunda. Gibson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Annorlunda clinches up with Gibson and pushes him back against the cage. Gibson tries to stall but Annorlunda uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Annorlunda breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Annorlunda scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Still in half guard, Annorlunda seems content to control. Annorlunda throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Annorlunda lands strikes from half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gibson wants to get back to his feet. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Annorlunda decides to stand up. Gibson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Gibson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Annorlunda.

Annorlunda stands up and we're back to a striking position. Annorlunda cracks Gibson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Gibson throws a right and a left that both miss. A swing and a miss from Gibson. Annorlunda connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. A punch combination from Annorlunda misses. Taj Gibson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Annorlunda tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gibson was well out of range. Poor timing from Annorlunda. Annorlunda rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gibson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Annorlunda digs a good body shot into Gibson's ribs. Annorlunda scores with a nice head shot. Gibson tries to move into range but Annorlunda moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Annorlunda shoots in and bounces Gibson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Annorlunda looking to pass the guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gibson is looking to stand up but Annorlunda isn't so interested in that idea. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Anders Annorlunda dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Gibson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Annorlunda looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Gibson! Annorlunda scores with punches from side control. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Gibson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Annorlunda is controlling him well. Anders Annorlunda has got the better of the ground game so far. Gibson dodges the ground and pound from Annorlunda. Annorlunda looks up at the clock and then as Gibson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Annorlunda smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Annorlunda is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Gibson's shoulder. That is not cool. Gibson wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
 That's one minute gone in the round. Annorlunda looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Gibson is avoiding damage well.
Annorlunda slows the pace down. Gibson taking a bit of punishment here - Annorlunda scoring with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The ground and pound from Annorlunda seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Annorlunda working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Annorlunda staying calm.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Annorlunda throws a head kick but Gibson moves out of range.

Annorlunda looking to score a takedown here. Gibson is defending well but Annorlunda drives through and ends up in Gibson's guard.
Gibson is working an open guard so Annorlunda takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Annorlunda tries to move into range but Gibson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Gibson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Gibson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Annorlunda darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Annorlunda content to control rather than advance. Annorlunda has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Annorlunda winds up and cracks Gibson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Still in half guard, Annorlunda seems content to control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gibson wants to get back to his feet.

Anders Annorlunda showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Annorlunda tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gibson defends well and Annorlunda ends up having to push Gibson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Nice body punch from Annorlunda. Gibson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Annorlunda dodges the punch combination from Gibson.

Annorlunda decides to take the fight back to the feet. Annorlunda takes a swing at Gibson's ribcage but misses. Annorlunda misses with a head kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Annorlunda throws a head kick that misses. As Annorlunda looks to move away, Gibson throws a big counter combo bu Annorlunda just gets out of the way.

Annorlunda is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Annorlunda digs a good body shot into Gibson's ribs. Gibson throws a right and a left that Annorlunda avoids nicely. Gibson takes one to the side of the head.

Taj Gibson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Anders Annorlunda is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Annorlunda tries to land a sweep but no joy. Annorlunda working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gibson.

And that's the end of the fight! Anders Annorlunda comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Annorlunda has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mitchell digs a good hook to Wayne's body.
Mitchell throws a head kick but Wayne moves out of range.
Wayne lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Wayne fails with the takedown
and Mitchell counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Mitchell lands a body shot in the clinch.
Mitchell turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Mitchell manages to end up in side control. Mitchell looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mitchell tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mitchell has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Mitchell taking a breather here. Mitchell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wayne keeps working.

Mitchell decides to stand back up. Mitchell steps back and let's Wayne get back to his feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Wayne looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mitchell drives through with a takedown into guard. Mitchell missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Wayne keeping moving, preventing Mitchell from controlling successfully. Mitchell looking to sit in guard and control but Wayne gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Mitchell pulls Wayne in close to prevent any damage.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wayne accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Wayne got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mitchell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wayne has managed to get both his arms back between Mitchell's legs - danger averted. Wayne postures up in Mitchell's guard and throws a big left but Mitchell blocks it.

Wayne wants to get back to his feet but Mitchell is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Wayne has Mitchell pulled in close to control his posture.

Mitchell drops back looking for a leg! Wayne is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wayne manages to kick Mitchell off! Mitchell jumps back into Wayne's guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Wayne can't keep his opponent in guard - Mitchell advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Mitchell sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Wayne defending well though. Wayne wants to get back to his feet.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mitchell forces the positional change into back control. Mitchell misses with an elbow to the head. Mitchell throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Mitchell doesn't have the hooks in and Wayne manages to turn into his guard.

Wayne is trying to pull guard but Mitchell turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Solomon Wayne. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mitchell gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Wayne pushes Mitchell off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Mitchell clinches. Mitchell lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Wayne. Wayne fails to pull guard.
Mitchell lands a nice uppercut.
Mitchell has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Wayne is trying to keep an underhook but Mitchell manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Wayne has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Mitchell is on him like a limpet, forcing Wayne back against the cage. A right hand to the body from Mitchell.

Mitchell has picked Wayne up - he's going for a ride! Mitchell dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mitchell passes to side control. Wayne is not content to let Mitchell control the position. Wayne tries to bench press Mitchell off him but Mitchell keeps the position. Mitchell trying to control the action but Wayne is working from the bottom. Wayne is trying to control Mitchell's posture but Mitchell avoids it.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Mitchell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wayne keeps working. Terrence Mitchell has got the better of the ground game so far. Wayne prevents Mitchell from moving into mount. Mitchell is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Wayne will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Mitchell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mitchell wants it to stay on the feet. Wayne goes for a double leg but Mitchell avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mitchell continues to drive forward. Mitchell throws a hook but Wayne avoids it easily. Wayne is looking to counter the offense by Mitchell and move into the clinch.
Mitchell fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wayne, pushing him back against the cage.
Mitchell's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Wayne moves out of range of the body kick. Wayne appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Both fighters circling a little - Mitchell finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Wayne gets tackled into the cage by Mitchell. Mitchell maintains the clinch. Mitchell lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Mitchell moves into range and clinches up with Wayne. Wayne lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Mitchell backwards.
Wayne breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Wayne showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mitchell.
Mitchell is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wayne's half guard.

Mitchell prevents Wayne from improving his position. Mitchell is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Wayne! Mitchell controlling from mount.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Light shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jah as he jumps to the side. Light fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jah avoids the head kick by Light.
Jah is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Light. Light shoots in for a takedown but Jah shows good takedown defense. Jah appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Soul Jah has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Light. Light shoots for a takedown but Jah saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A head kick misses from Light. It looked like Jah wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Light changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jah tries to avoid it but Light manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jah to the ground. Jah escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Light gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jah counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Soul Jah dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Filipovic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Filipovic throws a low kick but Cartwright avoids it. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Filipovic, as that shot connected.
Cartwright throws a wild body kick that Filipovic sees coming a mile off. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Filipovic! But no joy. Cartwright feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Filipovics jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Cartwright thuds a left hand into Filipovic's body. A combination from Cartwright does no damage. That kick from Filipovic tenderised Cartwright's leg. Cartwright is trying to keep his angry face on. Filipovic scores with a head kick.
