The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rakija lands a jab-cross combination. Rakija closes the distance and clinches. Knees in the clinch landing for Rakija.
Rakija connects with a nasty looking knee right to Evans's face.
It looks like Adam Evans has been cut. Rakija lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Evans backwards. Rakija lands a damaging elbow. Rakija lands an elbow that stopped Evans in his tracks for a moment. Rakija unloads a knee to the mid-section. Evans lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Evans is breathing heavily. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winchester throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Marx tries to counter with a takedown but Winchester is quick to defend against it. Marx blocks the body kick.
Winchester ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Winchester closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Marx dodges an elbow strike from Winchester.
Winchester lands a nice uppercut. Winchester manages to break the clinch.
Marx slips a straight right by Winchester. Winchester keeps Marx at a distance using the push kick. Winchester throws a low kick but Marx moves out of range easily. Marx tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Winchester was well out of range. Poor timing from Marx. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Winchester displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Marx throws out the jab. Marx uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Winchester. Marx scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Sam Winchester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Winchester gets caught napping as Marx dives in and scores a takedown. Winchester manages to retain guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Winchester is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Marx has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Marx keeping moving, preventing Winchester from controlling successfully. Marx looking for a sweep. Not yet Marx, not yet. Marx slips an arm under Winchester chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Marx has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Marx is squeezing on Winchester like an anaconda would it's prey. Winchester fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

That was a close round but I would say that Uthe Haas will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sorokov swats away the attempt to clinch by Batyr. Batyr connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sorokov's hands. Batyr throws a combination that misses and Sorokov counters with a nice uppercut.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sorokov working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Sorokov trying to control the position from guard on top but Batyr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sole throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Good leg kick by Sebastian there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Sole looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Sole tries a head kick but it misses.

Sole goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Sole looks for the body kick but Sebastian saw that one coming. Sole throws a hook to the side of Sebastian's head but Sebastian sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sebastian chopping away at his opponent's legs.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sebastian blocks a leg kick. Sebastian looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sole is fending him off so far but Sebastian persists. Nope, Sole circles away and we're back to standing. Sebastian looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Sole tries to score with a low kick but Sebastian moves his leg out of the way. Sebastian lands a leg kick that knocks Sole off balance momentarily.

Sebastian's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Sole lands on the inside with an uppercut. Sole lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Sebastian avoiding damage as Sole throws knees to the body.
Sebastian jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sole walks away with a smile on his face. Sebastian gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Jacks Sole has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Belle Sebastian. A low kick from Sebastian misses and Sole counters with a thumping low kick. Sebastian has a takedown stuffed. An inside leg kick from Sebastian misses. Sebastian ducks under a wild hook from Sole. Sole throws a head kick that misses. Sebastian unleashes a big counter combination but Sole bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Sebastian thows a leg kick but Sole checks it and Sole counters by moving into the clinch. Sole lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sole lands a body punch. Sebastian's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sebastian slips a jab from Sole. Sole looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Sebastian turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Sole avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Sole takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Sebastian looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Sole appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Sole with a hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sole gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sebastian to score an easy takedown into full guard. Sole keeping moving, preventing Sebastian from controlling successfully. Sole working for a triangle but Sebastian defends it easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Sole looking for a sweep. Not yet Sole, not yet. Sole will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sebastian trying to control the position from guard on top but Sole is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sole seems keen to control Sebastian's posture. That's one minute gone in the round. Sole lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Sebastian wants to hit a switch here but Sole passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Sebastian there! Sebastian is trying desperately to improve position. Sole postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Sebastian looks a forlorn figure.

Sebastian felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sole connects with a nice short shot to Sebastian's temple.

Sole trying to control from half guard but Sebastian is working away. Sole not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Sebastian punching from the bottom.
Sebastian is refusing to be controlled, as Sole sits in half guard. Sole drops an elbow to the side of Sebastian's head. Sebastian is trying to get back to full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sebastian is trying to maintain the position but Sole is very close to passing his half guard. The fighters circle momentarily. Sole darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. A big right from Sole misses. Sole throws an off balance right hand
and Sebastian counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sole won't be happy with that. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sole wants to control but Sebastian postures up. Sole sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Sole landing rabbit punches to the side of Sebastian's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.

Sole wants to sweep here but Sebastian controlling him for the moment. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Sole holds on and takes a little breather. Sole thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Sebastian tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sole throwing a counter right hand but Sebastian manages to avoid it. Sole throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Sole has Sebastian up against the cage in a clinch.

Sole fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Sebastian closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sole's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sebastian works over Sole with some ground and pound from guard. Sole is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sole working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sebastian.

Rasheed tries to counter with a takedown but Duffy is quick to defend against it. A head kick by Duffy misses and Rasheed counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Duffy! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duffy struggling a bit here. Rasheed is trying to get an arm triangle but Duffy is defending well. Duffy is looking to reverse the position. Duffy wants to control but Rasheed postures up. and Tynkkynen counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Huia out cold! What a finish! Tynkkynen is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Liam McGuiness! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nirvi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McGuiness uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nirvi. McGuiness takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
McGuiness lands a glancing blow to the side of Nirvi's head.
It looks like Niko Nirvi has been cut. McGuiness avoids a punch combination nicely.
McGuiness throws a lazy right hand but Nirvi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Nirvi tries to close the distance and clinch but McGuiness swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. McGuiness looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. McGuiness rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

Nirvi throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Nirvi goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. McGuiness throws out a counter right but Nirvi avoids it with no problem. Nirvi throws a body shot but no joy. McGuiness appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Nirvi clinches up against the cage.

McGuiness feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Nirvi sprawling to the canvas! Nirvi rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McGuiness finish him?!
Nirvi is rocked! Nirvi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McGuiness. A chopping leg kick lands by Nirvi. McGuiness steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nirvi. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Nirvi, right into the meat.

McGuiness fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nirvi manages to avoid it. Nirvi swings and misses with a shot to the body and McGuiness counters with a lovely straight right hand! McGuiness is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nirvi. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nirvi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The fight moves into the clinch position. McGuiness scores with a nice hook to the head. Oh Nirvi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! McGuiness pushes Nirvi back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Nirvi seems to have got his legs back now. Nirvi misses with some punches.
McGuiness tries to stall but Nirvi uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

A close round but Liam McGuiness will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Niko Nirvi's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Nirvi moves away and avoids it. Nirvi cracks McGuiness with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. McGuiness throws a head kick but Nirvi moves out of range.

McGuiness gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Nirvi is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Liam McGuiness! Liam McGuiness was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
