Donowitz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vesnev looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Donowitz dips to his left and cracks Vesnev with an uppercut!
Vesnev has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Donowitz.
Vesnev shoots in for a double leg but Donowitz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Donowitz connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Vesnev changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Vesnev stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Donowitz.
Vesnev misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vesnev moves out of range of the body kick.
Donowitz sizes up Vesnev with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Vesnev throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Vesnev throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Donowitz counters with a slapping leg kick.
Vesnev shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Donowitz but Donowitz pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Donowitz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Donny Donowitz rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
