The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matsuo works Apolinario's body with a nice hook.
Apolinario is trying hard to land a takedown here. Matsuo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Matsuo wants to counter with a clinch but Apolinario pushes him away.

I would just about give that final round to Damian Matsuo.
Well Matsuo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ferdum lands a big right hand that sends Barcelona crashing to the mat! Ferdum stays standing though and waves Barcelona back to his feet!

It looks like Chester Barcelona has been cut.
Barcelona darts in trying to clinch
and Ferdum counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Barcelona has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Tukhugov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Tukhugov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Arenas paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Arenas has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Arenas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tukhugov.

and Arenas counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Arenas feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Tukhugov sprawling to the canvas! Tukhugov rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Arenas finish him?!

Tukhugov is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Arenas drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Tukhugov's head, knocking him out cold! Arenas is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

After the fight, Nicolas Arenas was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
