Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carlos Oliveira! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aaron Moore! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Eddie Farnsworth and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oliveira uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Moore. Oliveira moves away from the strike by Moore. Moore lands with a nice combination. Oliveira backs away looking to recover. A big right from Moore misses. Oliveira shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Moore as he avoids it easily. Moore connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Oliveira momentarily.
Moore lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Oliveira at a distance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Oliveira drives through with a takedown into guard. Oliveira loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Moore wants to stand up but Oliveira is controlling him. Oliveira wants to control from the top but Moore keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oliveira thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Oliveira throwing strikes but missing. Moore wants to stand and escape but Oliveira is having none of it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Moore fails to land with a series of punches.
Oliveira is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Moore tries to bum rush Oliveira with a series of wild strikes but Oliveira uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Moore looks gassed! Oliveira takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Oliveira takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Moore loads up on a big right hand but Oliveira slips the punch.

Aaron Moore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Moore throws a right and a left that both miss. Moore with a nice cross. Oliveira shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Moore pinned against the cage. Moore gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Oliveira. That's going to take a lot out of him. Moore throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Oliveira.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moore throws a big shot that misses. Moore lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Oliveira scores with a takedown into Moore's guard. Moore keeping moving, preventing Oliveira from controlling successfully. Oliveira has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Moore pushes Oliveira off and scrambles back to his feet.
Oliveira misses with a takedown attempt - Moore sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Oliveira feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oliveira is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Oliveira won't allow Moore to get back to his feet. Oliveira looking to pass the guard. Moore can't keep his opponent in guard - Oliveira advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Moore wants to get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aaron Moore dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Moore loads up on a big right hand but Oliveira slips the punch. Moore lands a slapping body shot.
Moore might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Moore, as that shot connected.
Horrible takedown by Oliveira or perhaps it was just good defense by Moore which made him look bad. Moore paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Moore tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Oliveira was well out of range. Poor timing from Moore. Aaron Moore seems to be getting the better of the standup. Oliveira gets the takedown into side control. Oliveira goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Moore has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Oliveira but great work by Moore. Oliveira is looking to reverse the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Oliveira can't do much from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moore decides to take the fight back to the feet. Moore throws a series of punches but Oliveira avoids them all with ease. Moore listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Oliveira bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Moore misses with a hook. Oliveira ducked under it nicely. Oliveira feints and as Moore raises his hands in defense, Oliveira changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Oliveira is pushing down on Moore's leg trying to pass to half guard. Moore is fighting to maintain full guard but Oliveira has managed to sneak the leg through. Oliveira is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Moore has managed to free his arm - good work. Oliveira is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Moore defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oliveira is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Moore doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Oliveira. Oliveira is trying to control. Moore wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Moore wants to get back to his feet. Oliveira wants to control but Moore is keeping him busy.

Moore throws a nice looking combination but Oliveira bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Oliveira shoots in for a double leg but Moore sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A punch lands to the side of Oliveira 's head but he takes it in his stride. The fighters circling - Moore throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Oliveira shoots for a double leg takedown but Moore sprawls well. He's pushed Oliveira's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Moore ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Oliveira moves away. Moore moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Moore throws a jab when Oliveira was well out of range. Oliveira fails with a takedown attempt. Moore throws a right and a left that both miss. Carlos Oliveira has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Moore misses with a straight left. Moore slaps away a takedown attempt from Oliveira, before circling back to the center of the mat. Moore's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Moore duly obliges. Moore with a nice cross. A punch combination from Moore misses. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Oliveira. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Moore misses with a hook. Moore pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Filipovic lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andres clinches up against the cage. Jackson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Andres has him pressed against the cage. Jackson tries to pull guard but Andres won't allow it.

It looks like Hunter Jackson has been cut. Andres has Jackson pressed against the cage, preventing Jackson from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Andres jumps guard.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Niklas Eralesson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shane Flair! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Chad Campbell and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eralesson swings for the body but Flair moves out of range.
Flair feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Eralesson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Flair defends it easily. Eralesson trying to keep a closed guard but Flair is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Eralesson wants to get back to his feet but Flair is in a dominant position and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Flair thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Eralesson is looking to stand up but Flair isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eralesson looking for a sweep. Not yet Eralesson, not yet. Eralesson is breathing heavily. Flair drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Flair jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Eralesson wants to sweep here but Flair controlling him for the moment.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Flair stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Eralesson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Flair shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Eralesson but Eralesson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Flair fails with a takedown attempt. Nice sprawl there from Eralesson as Flair shoots in. Niklas Eralesson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Flair. Eralesson throws a solid leg kick but Flair takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Eralesson. Flair shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Eralesson is trying to defend but Flair finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Flair is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Eralesson defends it well. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Eralesson moves into full guard.
Eralesson wants to sweep here but Flair controlling him for the moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Eralesson wants to get back to his feet but Flair is in a dominant position and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Flair fails with the takedown. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Eralesson looks to land a combination but Flair avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flair tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Eralesson swivels and escapes. Flair has a takedown stuffed. Niklas Eralesson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Flair. Left hook, right uppercut from Eralesson. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Eralesson, as that shot connected.
Eralesson feints and then cracks Flair's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Flair down.

Eralesson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Flair. Flair circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Eralesson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Eralesson throws a series of punches but Flair moves out of range. Eralesson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Flair napping and manages to drive through into side control! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Flair can do anything to dispel that myth. Flair on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Eralesson tries to score with some ground and pound. Flair controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eralesson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Flair to his feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Flair is defended easily by Eralesson. Flair shoots and misses and Eralesson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Eralesson throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Niklas Eralesson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Flair misses with a takedown attempt and Eralesson counters with a nice uppercut. Eralesson lands with a kick to the temple. Flair shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Eralesson finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Eralesson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Flair counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Flair is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Eralesson sees it coming and defends easily. Eralesson is holding on to half guard well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Niklas Eralesson dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Flair is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Eralesson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Flair. Eralesson tries to kick Flair off but Flair keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eralesson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Eralesson gets full guard. Flair got a little sloppy there for a moment and Eralesson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Flair has managed to get both his arms back between Eralesson's legs - danger averted. Flair is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Eralesson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Eralesson has escaped and now he's on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Eralesson tries to stand but Flair is controlling from the bottom. Eralesson forces his way into half guard. Eralesson is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Flair wants to control but Eralesson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eralesson is trying to control. Flair wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Eralesson tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Flair. Flair with the active half guard here but Eralesson passes nicely into side control. Eralesson working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Flair taking punishment in the form of punches.
Flair is trying to improve his position. Eralesson decides to stand back up. Eralesson steps back and let's Flair get back to his feet. Flair looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Eralesson is fending him off so far but Flair persists. Nope, Eralesson circles away and we're back to standing. Eralesson has his takedown stuffed and Flair counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Eralesson!
And that's the end of the fight! Shane Flair comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Flair has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mendel swats away the attempt to clinch by Leone. Mendel gets a takedown into half guard. Mendel is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Leone makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Leone. Leone wants to stand but Mendel is controlling the position. Leone wriggles free and stands up. Leone fails with an attempt to clinch.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Mendel is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Leone doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Leone is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Mendel is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Leone is on top in guard.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Armstrong's guard. Armstrong tries to get to full guard but Sluce has control of the leg. Sluce is trying for a kimura here.
