Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Russell Patterson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Keith Rack! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Rack. Rack tries to counter by closing the distance. Patterson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rack as he jumps to the side. Patterson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rack is fending him off so far but Patterson persists. Nope, Rack circles away and we're back to standing. Patterson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rack is looking to take this one to the mat. Rack manages to break the clinch.
Rack fails with a takedown attempt from distance. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rack has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Oooh a lovely combination from Patterson sends Rack down but not out. Patterson dives into side control looking to finish.
Rack is rocked!
It looks like Keith Rack has been cut. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rack is looking for a sweep. Rack is still in real trouble! Can Patterson finish him? Rack reaches up around Patterson's neck trying to control. But Patterson takes advantage instantly and he's locked on an arm triangle! Big trouble for Rack! Oh that looks nasty! A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! Rack is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and Patterson celebrates the victory with the fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Russell Patterson! Russell Patterson took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.

20 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Enrico Mazzarri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Antonio Zarco! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Zarco. Mazzarri does a little dance to reset his feet. The fighters circle momentarily. Zarco darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Zarco lands a big head kick that sends Mazzarri tumbling to the mat! Zarco takes a step backwards and waves Mazzarri back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Mazzarri is rocked! Zarco drops Mazzarri with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Mazzarri! Zarco dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Antonio Zarco! In his post fight interview, Antonio Zarco started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
