The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Su looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Benton is fending him off so far but Su persists. Nope, Benton circles away and we're back to standing.
Su tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Benton swivels and escapes.
Benton fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Su sprawls well initially but Benton persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Su is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Benton scores with a couple of nice shots.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Su can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Benton lands a nice short elbow.
Benton is nestled in close to Su, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Benton lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Su quite badly. Su pulls Benton in close trying to recover. Benton postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Su on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Su doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
