The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jeeri lands with a straight right. Machado didn't see that one coming.
Jeeri tries to clinch but Machado is having none of it.
Machado cracks the inside of Jeeri's front leg.
Jeeri misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jeeri shoots for a double leg takedown but Machado sprawls well. He's pushed Jeeri's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Machado digs a good body shot into Jeeri's ribs.

Larocque reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Larocque taps out! Nice BJJ there by Engelbreckt!

Wollsey drops his hands momentarily and Jabber needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Wollsey just on the top of the head. Wollsey drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Wollsey - he's done!

Immortal Technique - Obnoxius kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Arvo Penaali was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Rauparaha goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Joe Schilling has been cut.
Rauparaha swings widly with a right hand
and Schilling counters with a nice body kick.
We've been told by Rauparaha's head coaches at Lock and Roll Grappling Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Rauparaha turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Rauparaha will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
