Gracie throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Rooney because Gracie loaded up on that one.

Gracie seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Rooney is holding on tight.

Rooney really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rooney tries to buck Gracie off so he can stand up but Gracie has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Rooney falls backwards, slamming Gracie to the mat but Gracie holds on tight! Rooney is forced to tap and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Son Goku!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gus Spencer!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goku shoots and misses
and Spencer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Spencer stuffs the takedown.
Son Goku seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spencer throws a leg kick but Goku checks it.

Goku closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Spencer did well to prevent Goku getting side control.

Spencer manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Goku keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Spencer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A shot to the liver by Spencer. Beautiful body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Goku misses with a takedown attempt
and Spencer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Son Goku. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Spencer comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Goku is breathing heavily.
Spencer goes for a small jab and connects. Now Spencer goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Goku stumbles back but Spencer runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Goku to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Goku will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Gus Spencer!
An out of breath and clearly excited Gus Spencer thanked Supreme Nutrition for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
In defeat, Son Goku stepped up to the mic, saying 'My KI was very loly'.
