The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kane tries to score a power double leg takedown but Toguchi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kane somewhat.
Toguchi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kane's waist but Kane gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Toguchi off to one side.
