The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Striker misses with a takedown attempt - jo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
jo fails with an attempt to clinch.

Striker throws a sloppy head kick and jo moves out of range easily.

Striker gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
The referee calls for jo to work.

Striker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
jo looks to land a left hand but Striker moved out of range nicely.
jo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Striker counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends jo down! Striker is looking to finish but jo is intelligently defending himself.
Striker working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Striker seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Striker gets to his feet. jo looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
jo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Striker jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

jo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Striker's guard.

Striker manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Striker seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

and Striker counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts jo! He's just covering up as Striker starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Fei Hung uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Tran really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Tran looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Tran takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Fei Hung scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Tran moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Tran takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Fei Hung cracks Tran with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Fei Hung keeps the fight on the outside.
Fei Hung displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tran.
Fei Hung looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
The crowd cheers as Fei Hung lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tran doesn't seem phased though.

Antonov does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Antonov's coach down at Beast Bar was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Antonov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Well Antonov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Mamchenko shoots and misses
and Rodgers counters with a nice uppercut.

Mamchenko fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rodgers to the ground. Mamchenko is now in Rodgers's guard.
Rodgers has his hands on Mamchenko's head, controlling the position.
Mamchenko wants to control from the top but Rodgers keeps moving.
Rodgers is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Rodgers utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Budlung got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hunter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Budlung has managed to get both his arms back between Hunter's legs - danger averted.

Hunter had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Budlung defends it easily.
Hunter is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

You can see the frustration on Budlung's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Hunter misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Budlung seems a little lost for a moment, as Hunter dominates the positioning.

Budlung felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Hunter looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Budlung with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Budlung tries to kick Hunter off but Hunter keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Hunter takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

That has opened up Mongol Budlung's cut even more.

Hunter thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Budlung's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jab, jab by Hunter - just one landing.

The cut above Mongol Budlung's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Budlung misses with a straight left.

Hunter avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Budlung fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Mongol Budlung's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Budlung is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Hunter just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Budlung has gone limp and this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mark Hunter!
