The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuts fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pablo looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Pablo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nuts.
Pablo tries to close the distance and clinch but Nuts swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nuts throws a body punch but Pablo moves out of range.
Nuts lands a nice looking body shot.
A good leg kick by Nuts.
Nuts misses with a few strikes there.
Pablo tries for a takedown but Nuts circles away easily

and Nuts counters with a crisp right hand that drops Pablo! Nuts lets Pablo back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nuts lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Pablo head around and knocks him out cold! Nuts hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Shinsuke Kushida.

Gomez steps in with a hook that catches Hiller right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Gomez follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Hiller looks absolutely devastated.

After winning the bout, Osvaldo Gomez thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Erik Hiller was interviewed post fight and said 'Gongrat to mr.Gomez! So what now? Im going to training for awhile and comeback for another run for the title. *Laugh*'.
