I was talking to Sunuwar's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Shifter jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sunuwar walks away with a smile on his face. Shifter gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Sunuwar swings for the body but Shifter moves out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Shifter has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
