Pala moves into the clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Pala throws an elbow but misses.

Silva fails to pull guard.

Pala wants the takedown. Silva is fighting it off but Pala persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Silva's guard against the cage.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Bones changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Kirkland scores with a head kick. Bones tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Kirkland sends Bones crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kirkland is motioning to the referee to let Bones up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Kirkland cracks a nice hook into Bones's ribs.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bones gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Kirkland gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
