Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Angle Iron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Glass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Iron's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I Have a Dream. Glass has chosen Laurel & Hardy present “ Dueling Banjos “ as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Iron drives through with a takedown into Glass's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Iron working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Iron thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Iron sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Glass's guard.
Glass wants to improve his position but Iron is controlling well.
Iron missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Iron is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Glass doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Iron.

Glass is defending against the submission attempts here by Iron.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Glass kicks Iron off and gets back to his feet.

Glass closes the distance and pushes Iron back into the cage.

Iron's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Glass counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Angle Iron has been cut.
Iron looks for a takedown but Glass sprawls well.
Iron has a takedown stuffed.

Glass throws out a counter right but Iron avoids it with no problem.
Glass lands with an uppercut that bounces Iron off the cage and back into range.

Glass waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Iron. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Iron to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Iron is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Glass stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Oh Iron is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Iron takes a swing at Glass's ribcage but misses.
Glass with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Glass flashes Iron a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Iron's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Iron crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Glass punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Frankie Glass!
Frankie Glass bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.

TheMan lands a nice leg kick that just misses Garcilazo's sensitive parts.

and Garcilazo counters with a series of strikes that sends TheMan to the canvas! Garcilazo follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
TheMan controls Garcilazo momentarily but Garcilazo frees himself.
Garcilazo looking to sit in guard and control but TheMan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Garcilazo wants to get back to his feet but TheMan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Dos Santos is trying to trip Hero. He has hold of a leg but Hero is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Dos Santos persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Guru Majja decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
