1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mamed Gamrot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wayne Webb! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Webb fails with an attempt to clinch.
As Webb looks to move away, Gamrot throws a big counter combo bu Webb just gets out of the way. Gamrot throws a nice looking combination but Webb bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Webb throws a counter combo. Webb wants to clinch up but Gamrot keeps it at a distance. Gamrot seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Webb!
Gamrot thows a left - swing and a miss! Gamrot misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Webb misses with a body kick. It looked like Gamrot was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Gamrot looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Webb is fending him off so far but Gamrot persists. Nope, Webb circles away and we're back to standing. Webb lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Gamrot backs up against the cage.
Webb rushes Gamrot with punches - Gamrot moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Gamrot goes down! Webb follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wayne Webb! Mamed Gamrot was interviewed post fight and said 'Im gonna go back to the drawing board see what went wrong and try and improve and get that W out here next time maybe a Knockout'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Casey closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hillman circles away. Hillman tries to counter with a takedown but Casey is quick to defend against it. Casey avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hillman is defended easily by Casey. Casey wants to counter with a clinch but Hillman pushes him away. Sloppy strikes from Hillman. Those never looked like landing. Hillman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Casey shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Casey showed some decent athleticism there. Casey is looking to stall here but Hillman recovers full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Casey trying to control but Hillman is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hillman wants to sweep here but Casey controlling him for the moment. Hillman throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Hillman is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Hillman pulls guard effortlessly. Hillman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hillman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Casey can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Casey is trying to maintain the position but Hillman is very close to passing his half guard. Casey is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hillman's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hillman's back! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hillman has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Casey. Hillman rolls, trying to escape but Casey keeps control of the position.

My spies in Canadian Dragon MMA inform me that Batista has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Jouban rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Carmen finish him?!
It looks like Roger Jouban has been cut. Carmen throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Carmen ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Jouban out cold! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frycondovich looks to score with a jab to the body but Sakurai is just out of range. Frycondovich uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sakurai has time to react. Frycondovich misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Frycondovich ducks under a wild hook from Sakurai. Frycondovich swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Frycondovich's corner calls for a 1-2. Frycondovich obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. A punch lands to the side of Sakurai 's head but he takes it in his stride. Sakurai thows a left - swing and a miss! Frycondovich ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sakurai moves away. Frycondovich really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sakurai walks into a stiff left hand from Frycondovich. Frycondovich takes a swing at Sakurai's ribcage but misses. Frycondovich blocks a jab. Frycondovich misses with a body shot.
It seemed like Sakurai was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Sakurai throws a big shot that misses. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Frycondovich ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Sakurai has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Frycondovich finds it's way round the side to connect with Sakurai's head. Nice defenses there by Frycondovich. Sakurai cracks Frycondovich with a right hand to the side of the head. Frycondovich scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. A decent looking cross lands there for Sakurai.

It looks like Waborg Frycondovich has been cut. Frycondovich throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cleary scores with a sloppy right hand. Breese should have avoided that one. Cleary blocks a low kick nicely. Cleary tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Breese manages to circle out of the way. Cleary lands with a cross. Cleary avoids the head kick by Breese.
Cleary seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Cleary throws a body shot but no joy. Breese misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Breese closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cleary to the mat! Cleary manages to get full guard. Cleary has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Breese should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Cleary has tightened it up now! Breese should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out!
