The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Birmbaum throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Campbell smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Birmbaum walks into a stiff left hand from Campbell.
Campbell stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Campbell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Birmbaum shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Campbell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Campbell jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Birmbaum feinted with a counter takedown.
Campbell connects with a jab.
Birmbaum throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Campbell counters with a stiff right hand.

Campbell cracks Birmbaum with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Birmbaum was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Birmbaum bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Birmbaum changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Campbell's jab looks to have found its range, popping Birmbaum under the eye.
Campbell misses with a hook.
Campbell scores with a jab. Birmbaum acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Birmbaum goes for a double leg but Campbell avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Campbell continues to drive forward.
Campbell lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Birmbaum needs to keep his hands up - Campbell had a free shot at his head there.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Birmbaum.
The ground and pound from Birmbaum seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Birmbaum has hold of Campbell's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Campbell tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Birmbaum cranks the arm and Campbell screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Campbell, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Twenty Eight tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Acosta counters with a nice double leg into side control. Twenty Eight won't be happy with that.
