The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castellaneta throws out a loose jab but Schulz uses good head movement to avoid it.
Castellaneta closes the distance and clinches up with Schulz, looking for a takedown. Castellaneta pushes Schulz against the cage but Schulz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Schulz misses with a double jab.
Schulz ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Schulz blocks a jab.

Castellaneta displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Schulz throws out the jab.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vermillion shoots in and bounces Mashdein off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Mashdein preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Vermillion will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Vermillion stands up over Mashdein, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Mashdein really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vermillion. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
