Hora looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Frantz displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hora.

We've been told by Frantz's head coaches at Cozad MMA St Petersburg that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Frantz lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Hora backs up against the cage.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleksandros Zagrev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lappi Dar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dar is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hunting Song - Korpiklaani. Aleksandros Zagrev had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Lappi Dar is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connor shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sisyaskez counters with a left and a right that stings Connor.
Left hook, right uppercut from Sisyaskez.
Connor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sisyaskez pinned against the cage. Sisyaskez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Connor with a lazy takedown attempt
and Sisyaskez counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Kane Sisyaskez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Connor.
Connor shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Connor tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sisyaskez defends well and Connor ends up having to push Sisyaskez into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

and Sisyaskez counters with a stiff right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sisyaskez connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Connor tumbling to the canvas! Sisyaskez pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Connor was done - good stoppage!

Barzaglia throws a lazy right hand but Kuznetcov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
The crowd cheers as Barzaglia lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kuznetcov doesn't seem phased though.
Kuznetcov displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Barzaglia throws out the jab.
No joy there for Kuznetcov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kuznetcov moves away from the strike by Barzaglia.
Kuznetcov connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

It looks like Luca Barzaglia has been cut.
Kuznetcov ducks under a wild hook from Barzaglia.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Kuznetcov and Barzaglia goes tumbling to the canvas! Kuznetcov follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Barzaglia is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kuznetcov content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Barzaglia is still in real trouble! Can Kuznetcov finish him?
Barzaglia felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Barzaglia seems to have recovered his senses.

Kuznetcov stands up and beckons Barzaglia to join him on the feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kuznetcov closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Barzaglia! Kuznetcov dives in looking to finish! Barzaglia is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
