That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Pounamu Akona.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Akona, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lars Kristoffer!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wow shoots in looking for a takedown but Kristoffer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wow's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kristoffer lands a nice shot that snaps Wow's head back.
Kristoffer lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Wow at a distance.
Kristoffer changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kristoffer lands with a good body shot.
Wow tries for a takedown but Kristoffer circles away easily
and Kristoffer counters with a left to the body.
Wow is breathing heavily.

Kristoffer has Wow up against the cage in a clinch.
A right handed body shot lands from Kristoffer.
A nice right hand lands inside from Kristoffer.
Wow jumps guard but Kristoffer stands there with Wow around his waist. Wow gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wow Wow. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kristoffer lands a nice uppercut.
Wow tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kristoffer smiles and moves away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wow is defended easily by Kristoffer.

Kristoffer lands a big right hand that sends Wow crashing to the mat! Kristoffer stays standing though and waves Wow back to his feet!

Wow is rocked!

It looks like Wow Wow has been cut.
Wow with a poor takedown
and Kristoffer counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Kristoffer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Lars Kristoffer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kristoffer cracks Wow with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Wow looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kristoffer finish him?
Oh Wow is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kristoffer rushes Wow and presses him up against the cage.
Kristoffer lands a hook that snaps the head of Wow backwards.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kristoffer digs a right hand into Wow's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Wow's gas tank.
Kristoffer creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Wow's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Wow drops to his knees and Kristoffer pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lars Kristoffer!
Wow Wow was interviewed post fight and said 'I got injury during training.'.
