The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adams Jr is looking to clinch but Larson is avoiding it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Larson. Larson with a lazy takedown attempt letting Adams Jr counter with a right hand.
It looks like Butch Larson has been cut. Adams Jr misses with a few strikes there.
Larson looks for a takedown but Adams Jr sprawls well. Adams Jr is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Butch Larson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Larson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Adams Jr tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Larson is in Adams Jr's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Adams Jr can do anything to dispel that myth. Adams Jr wants to stand up but Larson is controlling him. Larson sitting in guard, not really doing much. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Larson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Adams Jr for as long as he can get away with. Larson stops Adams Jr from standing up. Larson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Adams Jr uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Adams Jr cracks Larson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Larson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Adams Jr finish him?
Adams Jr leaves Larson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Larson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Larson tries to score a body lock takedown but Adams Jr shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Larson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Adams Jr wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Larson's closed guard. He's half up but Larson has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Larson pivots and extends the arm, Adams Jr falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Larson! Well done that man!

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Farmhouse Flander! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Thornton is defended easily by Flander. Flander's corner calls for a 1-2. Flander obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Thornton circles away from the clinch attempt.
Flander fails with an attempt to clinch.
Flander lands a jab to the head.
Thornton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Flander as he jumps to the side. Flander throws a lazy right hand but Thornton sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Flander throws a right hand that Thornton ducks under and follows up with a left that Thornton also avoids with ease. Thornton looks for a takedown but Flander sprawls well. Thornton has been working on his balance at Werewolf's cave, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Flander. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keith Thornton. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Thornton lands a couple of decent looking shots. Thornton is staying active underneath Flander, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Thornton has hold of Flander's hands but Flander slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Thornton is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Flander pulls his head out easily. Flander slips a nice elbow through Thornton's hands, connecting with Thornton's forehead. Flander lands with a punch from half guard. Thornton looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Flander working the head and body with strikes.

Thornton taking some punishment here, with Flander in his half guard. Thornton actively working from the bottom here. Flander looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Thornton with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Flander lands a jab. Thornton shoots in for a takedown but Flander shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Flander tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Flander instigates a clinch. A right hook to the body lands for Flander.
Flander misses with an elbow over the top. Flander tries a knee to the head but Thornton blocks it.
Thornton has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Flander is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Flander scores with a shot to the side of Thornton's head. Flander is defending well against a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keith Thornton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Thornton goes for a takedown attempt but Flander pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thornton closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Flander quickly recovers to half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Flander gets back to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Thornton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Farmhouse Flander has got the better of the ground game so far.

Flander bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Thornton's guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Flander working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Thornton is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Flander pulls his head out easily. Thornton actively working from the bottom here. Flander is nestled in close to Thornton, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Flander has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Flander working the head and body with strikes. Flander wants to lay and pray for a moment but Thornton keeps working. Flander is figuring out what he wants to do next. Flander winds up and cracks Thornton with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Flander lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Thornton is looking to get to half guard. Flander breaks from Thornton's wrist control and lands an elbow. Flander takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Flander landing punches. Thornton sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Thornton actively working from the bottom here. Thornton tries to get to full guard but Flander has control of the leg. Flander is looking to take a break and control but Thornton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Keith Thornton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Farmhouse Flander is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

And that's the end of the fight! Farmhouse Flander comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Flander has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jaxee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wilson somewhat. Jaxee takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Wilson tries for a takedown but Jaxee circles away easily enabling Jaxee to counter with a crisp jab. Wilson looks to clinch and Jaxee connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jaxee scores with a jab to the head.

Wilson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jaxee connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Wilson scrambles back to his feet. Wilson takes a shot right to the bread basket. Jaxee misses with a straight right. Wilson tries a quick counter leg kick but Jaxee is wise to it. Jaxee lands a really nice looking cross but Wilson seems unphased.

Stacee Jaxee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jaxee lands with a right hand. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jaxee scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Jaxee throws out a powerful jab. Jaxee lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Wilson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A counter left hand to the body from Jaxee misses its target. Wilson misses with a takedown attempt - Jaxee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Wilson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Jaxee listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Jaxee ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Jaxee misses with a straight left. Wilson flicks out a counter leg kick but Jaxee steps away. Wilson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jaxee works over Wilson's head and body with a nice combination. Jaxee lands with a right hand. Jaxee dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A jab from Jaxee does it's job there. Jaxee scores with a body shot.

Wilson is trying desperately to land a takedown but Jaxee is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Wilson. Jaxee cracks a nice hook into Wilson's ribs. Jaxee works Wilson's body with a nice hook. Wilson misses with a takedown attempt and Jaxee counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Wilson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Jaxee connects with a jab. Jaxee is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Wilson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Wilson moves forwards but Jaxee connects with a nice, crisp jab. Good standup being displayed there by Jaxee as he connects with a hook. Wilson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jaxee defends well and Wilson ends up having to push Jaxee into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jaxee fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wilson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. A left lands for Jaxee. Jaxee darts in and out, connecting with a jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stacee Jaxee dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Wilson has his hands clasped together but Jaxee extends and breaks Wilson's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Jaxee.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis lands with a thumping leg kick.
The crowd cheers as Davis lands an impressive looking overhand right. Anstey doesn't seem phased though. Davis cracks Anstey with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Davis feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Anstey's calf. Anstey uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Davis. Davis avoids the head kick by Anstey.
Davis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Anstey. Davis appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Anstey throws a right hand that Davis ducks under and follows up with a left that Davis also avoids with ease. Davis throws a combination. Anstey tries to block but a couple of punches get through. A nice inside leg kick there by Davis. That's going to slow Anstey down. That kick from Davis tenderised Anstey's leg. Anstey is trying to keep his angry face on. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Anstey misses with a low kick. Davis is looking to slow Anstey down with leg kicks. Davis with a body punch. A glancing blow. Anstey throws a quick inside leg kick. Davis throws a lazy uppercut

Anstey is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Davis connects with a good right hand that stumbles Anstey. Anstey circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Davis misses with a wild body shot. Anstey shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Davis pinned against the cage. Davis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. No joy there for Davis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Anstey takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Davis throws a hook to the side of Anstey's head but Anstey sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Davis lands a right hook to the body.
Davis is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Anstey. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Anstey ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Davis checks the leg kick.

Davis lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Anstey gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Anstey tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Davis is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Anstey buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Anstey!! Anstey is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Davis throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
