0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charly White! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Steve Montenegro and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garrison takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. White leaves Garrison with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Garrison throws the left hand but White avoids the punch easily. A jab lands there for Garrison. Garrison tries for a takedown but White sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Garrison scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Garrison fakes high and swings low for a body shot but White manages to avoid it. Garrison tries for a takedown but White sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. White throws out a counter right but Garrison avoids it with no problem. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paulie Garrison. That's going to take a lot out of him. White lunges at Garrison with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Garrison's hand. Garrison ducks down and throws a hook to the body but White moves away. White manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Garrison misses with a looping right. Garrison shoots and misses and White counters with a lovely straight right hand! White uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Garrison.

White doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Garrison is breathing heavily. White tests Garrison's chin there with a solid looking shot. Garrison shoots in and drives through. White sprawls well. Garrison shoots in looking for a takedown. White tries to sprawl out of it but Garrison keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. White manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Garrison will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. White misses the jab. White throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. White scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Garrison slips under a jab. Nice uppercut lands for White. That snapped Garrison's head back.
White dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A telegraphed right hand from White misses the target. White misses with a looping right. White throws a body punch but Garrison moves out of range. White steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Garrison. Garrison takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

White is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Garrison had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Garrison is trying hard to land a takedown here. White sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. A big right from White misses. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. White misses the shot to the body. Garrison staying out of range there. Garrison displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as White throws out the jab. White throws a lazy right hand but Garrison sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. White misses with a looping left. Garrison is looking to counter with a shot to the body. White slips under a jab from Garrison. White scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Garrison doesn't seem bothered though. White throws a body punch but Garrison moves out of range. White comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Garrison shoots in for a takedown but White shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. White is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Garrison with a body shot. Garrison drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. White sneaks out the side door and pushes Garrison away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Jab from White. Garrison throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Garrison has an Americana. White didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Garrison is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Garrison hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weir lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Diaz jabbing away but nothing is landing. Diaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Weir moves away. Weir misses with a left hand and Weir takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Diaz misses with an uppercut
and Weir counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Weir is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Diaz keeping moving, preventing Weir from controlling successfully. Weir is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Diaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Weir doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Diaz is tightening it up a little... Weir has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Weir reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Weir taps out! Nice BJJ there by Diaz!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sambo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. RIck working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sambo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sambo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. RIck looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Sambo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. RIck swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sambo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sambo is sitting in close to RIck's body. RIck has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sambo is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sambo is tapping! That was a very nice submission by RIck.

Dawes tries for a takedown but Steller sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Dawes needs to keep his hands up - Steller had a free shot at his head there.
