The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toretto shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hughes as he avoids it easily.
Hughes has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hughes wants a takedown.
Toretto prevents the takedown attempt.
Hughes is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Dominic Toretto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bronson Hughes.
Hughes changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Toretto fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Toretto changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hughes tries to avoid it but Toretto manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hughes to the ground. Hughes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hughes tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Toretto smiles and moves away.
Toretto goes for a double leg but Hughes avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hughes continues to drive forward.
Sloppy strikes from Hughes. Those never looked like landing.

Hughes shoots in looking for a takedown. Toretto tries to sprawl out of it but Hughes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Toretto manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Toretto takes the fight into the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Toretto just misses with a elbow thrown towards Hughes's brow.

Toretto gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Hughes gets full guard.

Toretto content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Hughes has locked up a guillotine! Hughes's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Toretto is holding on here and Hughes must be using up a lot of energy. Toretto has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Hughes gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Al Ahwei avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Greene.

Al Ahwei is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Greene off and has taken his back!

Al Ahwei has the hooks in. Greene is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Al Ahwei seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Greene refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Greene's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

After initially coming in at 171.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds.
