Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joe Kearney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Duke Morton! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morton scores with a nice strike. Morton throws a right and a left that both miss. Kearney bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Morton can do anything to dispel that myth. Morton tries to escape but Kearney is in control. Kearney is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Morton looks calm but he's in trouble here. Kearney gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Morton is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Kearney lets go of the hold and Morton can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Joe Kearney!

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Octavio Di Rocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Dukington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Di Rocha kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Chain/F1 - Fleetwood Mac. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Duke Dukington! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Di Rocha dodges the punch combination from Dukington.
Dukington throws a nice looking combination but Di Rocha bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Di Rocha looks to land a left hand but Dukington moved out of range nicely. Di Rocha cracks Dukington with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Di Rocha swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dukington misses with a double jab.
Dukington takes one to the chin there. Di Rocha connects with a body shot that sends Dukington's belly button to the back. Dukington gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Dukington on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A lazy left from Di Rocha finds it's target. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Di Rocha lands a nice looking body shot.
Di Rocha shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dukington eats them both and turns towards Di Rocha to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Di Rocha lunges at Dukington with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dukington's hand. Di Rocha scores with a jab to the jaw.
Dukington is rocked! Dukington throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Di Rocha counters with a crisp right that sends Dukington to the canvas! Di Rocha follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Octavio Di Rocha! Octavio Di Rocha seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
