The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bosh shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hardy's guard.
Hardy wants to stand and escape but Bosh is having none of it.
Bosh trying to control the position from guard on top but Hardy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hardy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bosh trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Bosh tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hardy knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Bosh has control of Hardy's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hardy regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Bosh can't control as he wanted to and Hardy manages to get the fight back to his half guard.
Hardy is looking to escape.

Bosh has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Hardy defend it? Bosh steps over the head and cranks it - Hardy is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bosh!

It looks like Jan Pope has been cut.
Magetsu connects with a solid leg kick.
Pope looks to score with a jab to the body but Magetsu is just out of range.
Magetsu thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Pope if he has to take too many more of those.
Pope has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Magetsu moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Pope! Magetsu continues to tee off on Pope, landing with a left and a right! Magetsu connects with a right hand that leaves Pope sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Magetsu!

We've been hearing reports that Kure has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
A punch lands to the side of Kure 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Leeroy wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Leeroy feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kure sprawling to the canvas! Kure rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Leeroy finish him?!

Jorn Anthriel decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
