The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Unz shoots in and gets a takedown into Kirillov's guard.

Unz drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kirillov looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kirillov looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kirillov!

Unz is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kirillov's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dahl feints and then cracks Boucher's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Boucher down.
Dahl lands a lovely overhand right.
Boucher cracks Dahl with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Dahl throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Boucher cracks Dahl with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Boucher takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Gabriel Dahl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dahl lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Boucher has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Boucher and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Gabriel Dahl will probably get the nod.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boucher cracks Dahl on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Dahl falls backwards against the cage. Boucher follows up with more strikes that drop Dahl to his knees. Boucher keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Dahl! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Roberto Boucher started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
