The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Vance counters with a stiff right hand.

Sonnen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Vance sprawls well initially but Sonnen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Vance is looking to improve his position.
Vance moves into full guard.
Vance trying to keep a closed guard but Sonnen is proving a slippery customer.
Sonnen with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A very excited looking Kruger Vance rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
