The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faces has a takedown stuffed.
Trzeci drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Faces defends it well.
Faces has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Trzeci finds it's way round the side to connect with Faces's head.
Faces shoots in looking for a takedown but Trzeci manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Faces's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Trzeci moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Trzeci is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well McClosky has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Saoul lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Conor Mc Gregor up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Saoul from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Conor Mc Gregor's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
