Janeiro drops his hands momentarily. Moka doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Janeiro staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Janeiro doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Moka Moka decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Sauced's corner calls for a 1-2. Sauced obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Nelson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sauced. Sauced circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Nelson thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Sauced if he has to take too many more of those.

Grunge does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

We've been told by Grunge's head coaches at Nelson Fight Camp that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Mingo misses with a body punch
and Grunge counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Grunge misses with a leg kick.
Mingo now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Nice uppercut there from Mingo.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mingo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Mingo misses with a hook. Grunge ducked under it nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
