The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Young avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fairtex fails to land the takedown. Fairtex fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Young. Fairtex uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Young.
Young throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fairtex was covering up waiting for the punch and Young finishes the takedown easily into guard. Fairtex working a defensive guard here.
