The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Perez fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kuznetsov sprawls well initially but Perez persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Perez has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Perez is landing with some decent strikes but Kuznetsov is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

BOOM! Perez connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Kuznetsov takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Perez's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Too looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Vallon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Fujii Yusuke showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kyle catches Baker with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kyle sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Victor Pain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Muen Gnar!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Franklyn Lucas and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain fails with a takedown attempt.
Gnar is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Pain tries for a takedown but Gnar sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gnar looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A punch lands to the side of Pain 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Gnar throws a leg kick but Pain checks it.
Pain doesn't manage to clinch there - Gnar circles away.
Gnar gets in close and tags Pain with a short punch that almost sends Pain to the mat! Oh Pain is in big trouble! He turns his back on Gnar, trying to create some distance but Gnar rushes him, striking wildly and Pain goes down! The referee tackles Gnar into the cage to end the fight! Gnar is one violent man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Muen Gnar!
