The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Da Silva closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Arsscott quickly recovers to half guard.
Arsscott manages to get to full guard.
Arsscott is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Da Silva is controlling him.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Da Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Arsscott swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Arsscott crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Da Silva - the referee stops the clock and Arsscott gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Da Silva. Arsscott manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Arsscott is breathing heavily.
Arsscott sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Da Silva shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Da Silva was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Da Silva throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Arsscott colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Da Silva as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Arsscott is left battered and dazed whilst Da Silva and his camp cheer!

Peacock connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Takamura Ippo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peacock bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ippo's head backwards.
Ippo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Peacock lands a big head kick that sends Ippo tumbling to the mat! Peacock takes a step backwards and waves Ippo back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Ippo is rocked!
Ippo drops his hands momentarily and Peacock needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Ippo just on the top of the head. Ippo drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Ippo - he's done!

A relieved looking Drew Peacock thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Stone tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Kanji presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Kanji throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Stone has his hands clasped together but Kanji breaks the hold and Stone is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Kanji!
