The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Armiger looks to land a combination but Hilton avoids it well. Armiger pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Armiger swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hilton jabs Armiger to the body, keeping him at a distance. Hilton bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Armiger's head backwards. Hilton drives through and clinches with Armiger against the cage.

Armiger steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hilton. Armiger misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A jab from Hilton finds it's way through Armiger's defenses.
Armiger is rocked! Hilton uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Armiger. Armiger shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hilton as he avoids it easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Hilton. Armiger does a little dance to reset his feet. Hilton drops Armiger with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Armiger looks back up at him and smiles so Hilton waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Armiger is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This has been an exciting period of action! Some wild striking there from Armiger.

Fenton Hilton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Armiger looks to land a combination but Hilton avoids it well. Hilton on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Hilton throws out a powerful jab.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aharonian getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Fernandez slips a straight right by Aharonian. Fernandez throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Fernandez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Aharonian dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A looping hook to the body misses from Aharonian. Fernandez does a little dance to reset his feet. Aharonian with a body punch. A glancing blow. Fernandez blocks a low kick nicely. Fernandez takes a body punch but keeps moving. Aharonian goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Fernandez tries to land a body kick and Aharonian counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fernandez thinking. Aharonian blocks a jab. Fernandez lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fernandez gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Aharonian counters with a stiff right hand. Fernandez swings and misses with a shot to the body and Aharonian counters with an outside leg kick.
Fernandez lands a really nice looking cross but Aharonian seems unphased.

Fernandez takes a shot right to the bread basket. Fernandez drops his hands momentarily and Aharonian needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Fernandez just on the top of the head. Fernandez drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Fernandez - he's done!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mortaza fails with a takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mortaza. Crespo scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Crespo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mortaza is defended easily by Crespo. It looked like Crespo wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Mortaza has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Silvio Crespo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mashrafe Mortaza. Crespo slaps away a takedown attempt from Mortaza, before circling back to the center of the mat. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Mortaza steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Crespo. Mortaza shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Mortaza thows a huge punch but Crespo dodges it nicely.

Crespo's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Hardman defending well as Prime loads up on a big left hand. An attempted straight right counter from Hardman misses the target. Hardman throws a right hand that Prime ducks under and follows up with a left that Prime also avoids with ease. Hardman moves into range and clinches up with Prime. Prime breaks from the clinch.

It looks like Bruce Hardman has been cut. Bruce Hardman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Prime takes a body punch but keeps moving. Oh Hardman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Prime has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Prime on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Hardman seems to have got his legs back now. Good standup being displayed there by Hardman as he connects with a hook. Prime dodges the punch combination from Hardman.

and Hardman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Hardman throws a hook but Prime avoids it easily. Prime gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Hardman gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Prime is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

24 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Magnus Cross! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McMurphy pushing out the jab but it's not landing. It seemed like Cross was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. McMurphy connects with a looping right hand.
Cross gets cracked with a nice right hand there by McMurphy. Cross swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McMurphy feinted with a counter takedown. Magnus Cross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cross scores with a decent looking hook. Cross throws a combination that misses and McMurphy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. McMurphy lands a nice shot to the body.
Cross misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cross misses with a right hand and McMurphy counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McMurphy takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Cross wants to improve his position but McMurphy is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round. McMurphy prevents Cross from standing back up.
Cross is trying to get back to full guard. Cross tries to push off, looking to stand up, but McMurphy manages to move to mount!
McMurphy wants to control the pace but Cross is squirming around nicely. Cross felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McMurphy cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cross is bucking up trying to escape but McMurphy cracks him with another couple of good strikes. McMurphy prevents Cross from getting the reversal. Cross wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McMurphy cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Cross is rocked! Whack. That's a big, big shot from McMurphy! Cross is out cold! This one is all over!
