The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Degrizz misses with a wild body shot.
Ap Nudd feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Ap Nudd bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Degrizz's head backwards.
Degrizz keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ap Nudd.
Degrizz tries to clinch but Ap Nudd is having none of it.

Ap Nudd escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Ap Nudd lands a big head kick that sends Degrizz tumbling to the mat! Ap Nudd takes a step backwards and waves Degrizz back to his feet - he wants the finish!

and Ap Nudd counters with a crisp right that sends Degrizz to the canvas! Ap Nudd follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Donatelli fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Fuk on the side of the head.
A jab from Donatelli finds it's way through Fuk's defenses.
Donatelli is looking to score with low kicks.
Ho Lee Fuk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Donatelli feints and then cracks Fuk's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fuk down.
Fuk shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Donatelli as he jumps to the side.
Donatelli lands a nice looking body shot.
Fuk moves away from the strike by Donatelli.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Fuk has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Fuk shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Donatelli stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Donatelli wants it to stay on the feet.
Donatelli moves out of range of the leg kick from Fuk.

Fuk fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

The fighters circle, before Donatelli throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Fuk's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Donatelli lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Berdich fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Watanabe sprawls well initially but Berdich persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Watanabe can do anything to dispel that myth.

Watanabe on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Berdich seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Watanabe does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
