The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Armiger scores with a hook to the body. McDonagh takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Armiger darts in and out, connecting with a jab. A punch lands to the side of McDonagh 's head but he takes it in his stride. Armiger throws a right and a left that McDonagh avoids nicely. Armiger takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Armiger shoots and misses and McDonagh counters with a series of strikes. Armiger will be more careful next time no doubt. Armiger avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McDonagh pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Armiger throws a looping overhand right but McDonagh ducks down to avoid it. John Armiger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Armiger moves away from the strike by McDonagh. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Armiger looks to land a combination but McDonagh avoids it well. A slow jab from Armiger misses its intended target. Armiger displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McDonagh. Armiger swinging wildly here.

McDonagh feinted there with a counter leg kick. A looping hook to the body misses from McDonagh. Armiger does a little dance to reset his feet. McDonagh takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Armiger throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Nice takedown defense from Armiger. McDonagh on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. McDonagh defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Armiger. A shot to the liver by Armiger. Beautiful body shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Armiger shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McDonagh but McDonagh pushes him off and we're back to square one. Liam McDonagh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Armiger.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frankels throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Frankels.
Wester throws a combination that misses and Frankels counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Wester takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Frankels lands a front kick. Wester looks winded! Wester moves forwards but Frankels connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Marcus Wester has been cut. Frankels connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Frankels lands a leg kick that knocks Wester off balance momentarily. Frankels sends Wester crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Frankels is motioning to the referee to let Wester up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Wester is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Frankels scores with a leg kick.

Lovelair fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Alex, pushing him back against the cage. Alex breaks from the clinch.
Lovelair has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Factory in the buildup to the fight. Lovelair stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lovelair wants it to stay on the feet. Lovelair tries to counter with a takedown but Alex is quick to defend against it. Raistlin Lovelair has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Alex. Lovelair throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Lovelair misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lovelair moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Lovelair getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Alex pulls Lovelair in to control the position. Alex wants to sweep here but Lovelair controlling him for the moment. Lovelair has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Alex is breathing heavily.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Guilhaume Prevot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bust Faces! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Columbo Gatti and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Prevot misses. Despite the aggression on Faces's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Prevot darts in and clinches Faces up against the cage. Prevot is trying to push Faces away but Faces has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Prevot breaks the clinch.

and Faces counters with a two punch combo. Prevot blocks a head kick by Faces.
Faces gets the takedown into side control. Faces controlling the position. Prevot is working to avoid the ground and pound but Faces connects with a decent elbow. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Faces lands a decent elbow from side control. Faces controlling the position. Faces has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Prevot tries to improve position but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Faces working the ground and pound. Prevot can't do much from the bottom here. Prevot is trying to escape the position but Faces is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Let's hope that Faces has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. It looks like Faces might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Sloppy strikes there by Faces.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Faces decides to stand back up. Faces paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Prevot clinches with his opponent.

Faces closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Prevot did well to prevent Faces getting side control. Faces is figuring out what he wants to do next.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Faces shoots in and bounces Prevot off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Prevot is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Faces controls from within his opponent's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bust Faces dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Prevot gets in close and instigates a clinch. Faces is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Prevot can't fight it off and eventually Faces manages to take the fight to the floor. Prevot looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Prevot not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Faces stays in close to Prevot's body and controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Faces content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Faces with a nice head shot there. Prevot keeping full guard, as Faces tries to pass. Prevot being controlled here, momentarily. Bust Faces has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Faces thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Faces is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Faces changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Prevot looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Prevot tries to improve position but can't. Faces passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Prevot! Faces with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.

Bust Faces showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Faces in particular looking to stall. The adventures of Faces the control monster continue. Boring. Faces stands up and beckons Prevot to join him on the feet. Faces leaves Prevot with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Faces counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Prevot pushes Faces off and gets back to his feet. Guilhaume Prevot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Faces drives through with a takedown into Prevot's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Prevot has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Faces is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Faces gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Prevot is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Faces's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Faces's back! Prevot keeps control of the position as Faces tries to break free.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zsasz misses the jab. A slow jab from Zsasz misses its intended target. Zsasz darts in trying to clinch and Morose counters with a takedown into side control. Morose working the ground and pound. Morose cracks Zsasz with a big elbow. Zsasz told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Zsasz is looking to regain half guard here but Morose keeps moving and retains side control. Morose scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Zsasz to see if he's OK. Zsasz should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Morose throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Morose working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Zsasz is rocked! Morose lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Zsasz! Morose senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Zsasz out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Motley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gnar tries to avoid it but Motley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gnar to the ground. Gnar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Gnar drops down looking for a counter takedown but Motley sprawls and moves away. Motley closes the distance and clinches up with Gnar, looking for a takedown. Motley pushes Gnar against the cage but Gnar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Motley on the wrong end of a nice hook. Motley goes for a double leg but Gnar avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gnar continues to drive forward. Muen Gnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brennan Motley. Motley staying out of range there. Motley fails to land the takedown. Gnar appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gnar, as that shot connected.
