3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ali Rahim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ghivur Thadee! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rahim fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Thadee has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Rahim goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Rahim keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Thadee misses with a combination
and Rahim counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Good leg kick by Rahim there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Thadee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rahim thinks about countering with a body kick. Thadee takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Ghivur Thadee has been cut. Thadee looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Rahim keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ali Rahim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Thadee takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Rahim is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Ali Rahim has been cut. Rahim definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rahim throws a body shot but no joy. Rahim ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. No joy there for Thadee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rahim fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Thadee. Thadee lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

That's one minute gone in the round. A left and a right from Rahim both land. Nice combination. Rahim throws a head kick that misses. Rahim takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Thadee works Rahim's body with a nice hook. Thadee throws a looping overhand right but Rahim ducks down to avoid it. It looked like Rahim wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Rahim buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Thadee drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. A head kick misses from Rahim. Thadee looks to throw the jab but Rahim is out of range. Thadee misses with a hook. Rahim ducked under it nicely. An attempted straight right counter from Rahim misses the target. Rahim takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rahim throws a leg kick which misses Thadee's front leg but catches the back leg as Thadee tries to avoid it. Thadee misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rahim.
Good standup being displayed there by Rahim as he connects with a hook. Thadee throws a right hand that Rahim ducks under and follows up with a left that Rahim also avoids with ease.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rahim bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Thadee's head backwards. A nice inside leg kick there by Rahim. That's going to slow Thadee down. Thadee jabs Rahim to the body, keeping him at a distance. Rahim looks to score with a jab to the body but Thadee is just out of range. Thadee takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Thadee swings for the body but Rahim moves out of range.

Rahim lands with a kick to the temple. Thadee shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Rahim walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Thadee checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Rahim pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Thadee is rocked! Thadee moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Thadee is still on wobbly legs! Can Rahim finish him?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rahim fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Thadee to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Thadee looks to clinch but Rahim throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Thadee taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Ali Rahim! Ali Rahim tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

Radex is pressed against the cage. Chinyengetere pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Radex! Two more big strikes from Chinyengetere and Radex crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!

After the fight, Victor Chinyengetere was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

West wants to stand and escape but instead Darrow has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. West is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Darrow has his hands on West's head, controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. West tries to free his leg and advance position but Darrow is retaining full guard. West throws an elbow that misses. Darrow uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in West's guard. Nice move by Darrow!
That's one minute gone in the round. West looking to hit a scissor sweep but Darrow is one step ahead there. West on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if West tries to get out of the position. West is trying to control the position but Darrow postures up. Darrow has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Darrow passes easily into side control. Nice work. Darrow happy to just control the position for now. Darrow working away. West tries to improve position but can't. My spies in Hazzard County Gym inform me that Darrow has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Darrow controls the position. You can see the frustration on West's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. West tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Darrow wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

and Darrow counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Darrow lands a nice leg kick that just misses West's sensitive parts. Darrow feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Wests jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! West misses with a wild combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Darrow fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Sloppy strikes from West. Those never looked like landing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Darrow avoids the body shot from West.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Darrow. Darrow is working West over against the cage. Andrew West has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! West throws a knee to the head but misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Ramsay Darrow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Darrow has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nipplestein walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Maul works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Maul scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nipplestein doesn't seem bothered though. Maul defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nipplestein. Maul cracks Nipplestein with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. We've been told by Maul's head coaches at Midnight MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Nipplestein takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A head kick misses from Maul. Nipplestein closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nipplestein is pressing down on Maul's thigh, looking to free his foot. Maul is holding on for now. Nipplestein missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Nipplestein seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Nipplestein scoring with strikes to the body and head. Maul is staying active underneath Nipplestein, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Nipplestein is looking to advance position but Maul won't allow it. Maul avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Nipplestein. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A good leg kick by Jong Un. Jong Un looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Jong Un tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nukington was well out of range. Poor timing from Jong Un. Nukington was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Nukington jabs Jong Un to the body, keeping him at a distance. Jong Un lands with a nice body kick. Nukington looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Jong Un lands a head kick. Nukington smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Nukington gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jong Un sends Nukington crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Jong Un is motioning to the referee to let Nukington up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Venczel feinted with a counter takedown. Venczel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jackson avoids it really well and circles away. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jackson, as that shot connected.
It looks like Zsiga Venczel has been cut. Jackson lands a jab-cross combination. Venczel takes a shot right to the bread basket. A big left from Jackson misses. Venczel attempts a counter takedown but Jackson avoids it well and moves away. Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jackson throws a hook to the side of Venczel's head but Venczel sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Venczel fails with the takedown. Jackson has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Venczel is landing a low percentage of strikes. Jackson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Venczel drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Venczel trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Venczel decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Jackson throws a hook but Venczel avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Venczel's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jackson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Venczel scrambles back to his feet. Excellent takedown into side control there by Venczel. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Venczel works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
