The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ali lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

I think Wright might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eazy E - Creep 'N' Crawl. Wade has chosen Bodies as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Morgan Wade told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wright throws a head kick but Wade moves out of range.
Wade throws a sloppy head kick and Wright moves out of range easily. A clash of legs there as Wright blocks the low kick. Wade keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Wade misses the shot to the body. A big left from Wade misses. Wright throws a head kick that misses. Wright moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromWade. Wade ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wright moves away. Wade digs a good body shot into Wright's ribs. Wade throws a head kick that misses and Wright counters with a head kick. A punch lands to the side of Wade 's head but he takes it in his stride. A head kick misses from Wade. Wright looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Wade with a jab. Wright cracks Wade on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Wade falls backwards against the cage. Wright follows up with more strikes that drop Wade to his knees. Wright keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Wade! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lionel Wright! A relieved looking Lionel Wright thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mitchell lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mitchell.
It looks like Chozen Toguchi has been cut. Mitchell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Toguchi circles away quickly and effectively. Toguchi tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mitchell defends well and Toguchi ends up having to push Mitchell into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Toguchi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mitchell's waist but Mitchell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Toguchi off to one side. Mitchell swings and misses with a shot to the body letting Toguchi counter with a right hand. Mitchell throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mitchell walks into a straight right hand from Toguchi. Terrence Mitchell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight moves into the clinch position. Mitchell lands a right hand that snaps the head of Toguchi backwards. A quick uppercut on the inside from Mitchell.

Toguchi felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Mitchell is trying to control. Toguchi wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Mitchell is stalling here. Toguchi is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Mitchell seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Toguchi has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Azevedo shoots in for a takedown but Charles shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Azevedo shoots for a double leg takedown but Charles sprawls well. He's pushed Azevedo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Danny Charles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Charles digs a right hand underneath Azevedo's ribcage. Azevedo let out a lung full of air as it connected. Come on Charles - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Charles's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Azevedo can't get the takedown.

And that's the end of the fight! Danny Charles showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Charles, winning every round. Will the judges agree? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee misses with a double jab.

and Ashton counters with a shoot takedown. Lee fights it but they end up in guard. Ashton landing some decent shots from guard. Lee wants to stand up but Ashton is controlling him. Ashton has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Ashton postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Lee wants to stand and escape but Ashton is having none of it. Ashton slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ashton with a nice head shot there. Ashton stands up over Lee, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Lee is rocked! Ashton is working Lee over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Lee is still in real trouble! Can Ashton finish him? Lee has momentary wrist control but Ashton slips an elbow through the middle. Lee is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Ashton makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Ashton loads up on a big left hand. Lee felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Ashton looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Lee can't hide his disappointment, as Ashton celebrates the victory.

McManus lands with a nice body punch. McManus throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sapp. Sapp dodges the punch combination from McManus.

A counter left hand to the body from McManus misses its target. Sapp closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Sapp lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Nice body punch from Sapp. McManus is breathing heavily. A right hook to the body lands for Sapp.

Nice shot by Sapp. McManus throws a nice looking combination but Sapp bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McManus misses with a series of wild punches.

Oh McManus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Sapp clinches up with McManus and pushes him back against the cage. McManus seems to have got his legs back now. Sapp gets through McManus's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. A short body shot lands from Sapp as the two fighters clinch.
Sapp lands a nice shot to the body. A quick uppercut on the inside from Sapp. Sapp lands an uppercut. Sapp lands with a right to the head. A frustrated look appears on McManus's face as he tries to break the clinch. Sapp dips a shoulder and cracks McManus with a mighty uppercut! McManus falls back against the cage and Sapp unloads with a barrage of strikes! McManus is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Sapp screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
