Rodriquez rushes Banderas and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Banderas throws a punch but it's blocked by Rodriquez.
Banderas tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rodriquez's elbow.
Banderas misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Rodriquez drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Banderas gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Rodriquez breaks the clinch.

and Banderas counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rodriquez throws a hook but Banderas blocks it.

Rodriquez closes the distance and pushes Banderas back into the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Roman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zero swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Roman shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Roman on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Zero. Zero obviously looking to wear him down.

Zero lands a left and a right that send Roman crashing to the mat, dazed. Zero thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Roman is rocked!
Roman walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Roman limp body while Zero jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Hudson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hudson looks for the body kick but Salazar saw that one coming.

Salazar has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hudson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Salazar circles away quickly and effectively.

Salazar closes the distance and clinches.
Hudson tries to break free but Salazar pushes him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Salazar manages to break the clinch.
Salazar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hudson tries to avoid it but Salazar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hudson to the ground. Hudson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hudson dives in and scores a takedown into Salazar's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Salazar is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Hudson has his hands clasped together but Salazar extends and breaks Hudson's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Salazar.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Nazari has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
McCormick is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nazari sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
