Undercard bout

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wenutu Halai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vaughn Peebles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Wenutu Halai has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Wenutu Halai seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Peebles keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Halai.
Halai pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Peebles drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Wenutu Halai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Halai throws a lazy right hand but Peebles sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Peebles ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Halai throws a good cross that connects.
Halai lands a really nice looking cross but Peebles seems unphased.
Halai connects with a nice looking jab.
Halai misses with an uppercut.
Peebles takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Halai throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Peebles will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Halai is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Peebles closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Halai to the mat! Halai manages to get full guard.
Halai is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Peebles dives into side control.

Peebles anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Halai and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Peebles slips an arm under Halai chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Peebles has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Peebles is squeezing on Halai like an anaconda would it's prey. Halai fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Mancini quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Arias has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Mancini celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
