1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Emil Gustafsson! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! OvGod rushes Gustafsson and presses him up against the cage. OvGod using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Gustafsson has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Gustafsson dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Gustafsson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as OvGod walks away with a smile on his face. Gustafsson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. OvGod connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. We've been told by OvGod's head coaches at Canadian Dragon MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. OvGod gets tackled into the cage by Gustafsson. Gustafsson maintains the clinch. Gustafsson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Laam OvGod has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Emil Gustafsson. Gustafsson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. OvGod gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Gustafsson tries to pull guard but OvGod forces him back to his feet, against the cage. OvGod is looking to work some ground and pound but Gustafsson has wrist control. OvGod knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gustafsson on the ground. Gustafsson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gustafsson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. OvGod wants to control from the top but Gustafsson keeps moving. Gustafsson pulls OvGod in close to his closed guard and prevents OvGod from doing any damage or advancing position. OvGod postures up in Gustafsson's guard and throws a big left but Gustafsson blocks it.

OvGod trying to control the position from guard on top but Gustafsson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gustafsson pushes a forearm under OvGod's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, OvGod is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kruger throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Steel sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kruger fails to land with a series of punches.
Steel was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Steel has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Kruger is landing a low percentage of strikes. Kruger checks the leg kick nicely there.
It looked like Kruger was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Kruger lands a right hook to the body.
Kruger scores with a hook to the body. Steel takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Kruger rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Steel moves out of range and avoids them all easily. That kick from Steel tenderised Kruger's leg. Kruger is trying to keep his angry face on. Kruger lands a slapping body shot.
Steel's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kruger connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Steel scrambles back to his feet. Kruger has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Kruger throws a series of punches but Steel moves out of range. Kruger misses with an uppercut. Kruger looks to land a right hand but Steel moved out of range. Steel appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Kruger has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Steel. Kruger throws a right hand that misses

That's one minute gone in the round. Steel uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kruger. Kruger uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Kruger blocks a jab. Kruger lands a right hook to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Goldberg closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Inurgurl is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. It looks like Goldberg is going to stand back up.

Fagaro manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Fagaro leaves Wooten with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Fagaro drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Wooten defends it well. Wooten shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fagaro pinned against the cage. Fagaro gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Fagaro with the counter takedown but Wooten avoids it easily. Wooten on the wrong end of a nice hook. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A chopping leg kick lands by Mc Steel. Melkovick connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mc Steel momentarily.
Mc Steel fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Melkovick checks it well. Melkovick shoots in for a takedown but Mc Steel shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Mc Steel uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Melkovick. Mc Steel misses with a hook. Mc Steel tries to score with a low kick but Melkovick moves his leg out of the way. Mc Steel fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Melkovick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Melkovick looking to score a takedown here. Mc Steel is defending well but Melkovick drives through and ends up in Mc Steel's guard. Melkovick sitting in guard here, content to control. Mc Steel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Melkovick. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Melkovick is standing up over Mc Steel. Mc Steel looks to escape but Melkovick dives into side control.

Melkovick is working Mc Steel over with some ground and pound from side control. Melkovick remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Mc Steel is trying to stand back up. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mc Steel tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Melkovick is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Mc Steel covers up after that shot from Melkovick.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Melkovick lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

It looks like he's just sitting there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Melkovick seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mc Steel for as long as he can get away with. He turned his hip over nicely there. Mc Steel slaps away a takedown attempt from Melkovick, before circling back to the center of the mat. Striker Mc Steel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mc Steel lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Cristoff Melkovick is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. A slow jab from Mc Steel misses its intended target.

Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. That kick from Jones tenderised McCringe's leg. McCringe is trying to keep his angry face on. Jones lands a leg kick that knocks McCringe off balance momentarily. McCringe looks to throw the jab but Jones is out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones gets in close and instigates a clinch. McCringe ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. McCringe no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. McCringe trying to keep a closed guard but Jones is proving a slippery customer.

McCringe tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jones smiles and moves away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McCringe is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. McCringe managing to block the knees to the body from Jones.

Jones lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Jones lands a right hand that snaps the head of McCringe backwards.

Oh McCringe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jones lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Jones lands a shoulder strike. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones creates a bit of space for himself and rocks McCringe with a big uppercut! McCringe tries to clinch up but Jones pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples McCringe to the mat! McCringe covers up and Jones unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Craig Jones! A relieved looking Craig Jones thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dinkledorff tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nord sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dinkledorff somewhat. Nord misses with a series of wild punches.
Nord seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Nord swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Dinkledorff counters with a stiff right hand. Nord throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dinkledorff. Nord swinging wildly here.
Dinkledorff looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dinkledorff shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nord but Nord pushes him off and we're back to square one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dinkledorff shoots in but Nord avoids the takedown attempt easily. Zebaztian Nord has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Dinkledorff. Dinkledorff displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Nord throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nord drops Dinkledorff with a right and a left! Nord comes rushing in but Dinkledorff regains his composure and manages to keep Nord in guard.

It looks like Ray Dinkledorff has been cut. Nord gets to his feet and stands over Dinkledorff, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Dinkledorff felt that one! Nord unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Dinkledorff from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zebaztian Nord! Zebaztian Nord very nearly forgot to thank Conquer amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you. Ray Dinkledorff was interviewed post fight and said 'We both know who the better fighter was...him'.
