The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Howitzer misses with a hook
and Howitzer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Aiden Howitzer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A slapping leg kick lands for Howitzer.
Howitzer takes a body punch but keeps moving. Smith takes the fight into the clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Howitzer. Howitzer manages to break the clinch.
Howitzer throws a lazy right hand but Smith sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Howitzer throws a lazy head kick and Smith counters by clinching up. Howitzer swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Smith creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Howitzer's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Howitzer drops to his knees and Smith pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nelson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Swebster tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Swebster tries for a takedown but Nelson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Nelson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Swebster shoots in but no luck this time. Swebster avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Nelson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Swebster looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Swebster distracts Nelson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
