The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoy lands a jab to Newbold's midsection.
McCoy stuffs the takedown attempt from Newbold. Newbold gets slowly back to his feet.
Newbold shoots in but McCoy avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nice takedown defense from McCoy. No joy for Newbold on that attempt.
As Newbold backs off McCoy throws a huge counter combo but Newbold manages to avoid it all.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Newbold. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McCoy feints a jab promting Newbold to slip. McCoy then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Newbold slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

As Newbold backs off McCoy throws a huge counter combo but Newbold manages to avoid it all.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sauvageau is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Parker flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Parker is out cold! Sauvageau holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delacroix avoids the head kick by Mindoro.
Delacroix lands a slapping body shot.
A big left from Delacroix misses.

Delacroix cracks Mindoro with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Delacroix will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Delacroix moves out of range as Mindoro strikes.
A little feinted left hand from Delacroix on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Mindoro misses with an uppercut. Delacroix saw that one coming.
Delacroix tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mindoro was well out of range. Poor timing from Delacroix.
Mindoro is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.

Delacroix throws a nice looking combination but Mindoro bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Delacroix lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mindoro circles away quickly and effectively.

It looks like Zadimus Delacroix has been cut.
Delacroix gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Mindoro pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mindoro has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Delacroix jabs Mindoro right on the nose. Mindoro blinks but takes it well.
Delacroix lands a lovely overhand right.
Mindoro tries a head kick but it misses.
Delacroix bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Good leg kick by Mindoro there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Mindoro takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Mindoro keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Delacroix feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mindoro sprawling to the canvas! Mindoro rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Delacroix finish him?!

Mindoro is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! Delacroix ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Mindoro clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

An out of breath Zadimus Delacroix thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.

James pushes KaSolomon up against the cage in a clinch.
KaSolomon fails to pull the fight into his guard.
KaSolomon wants to take the fight to the mat but James manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
James throws a head punch that misses.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that KaSolomon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
KaSolomon is working for takedown but James is calmly controlling the position for now.
Joy James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shaka KaSolomon.
James lands a shoulder strike.

It looks like Shaka KaSolomon has been cut.
KaSolomon fails to pull guard.
James tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

KaSolomon gets control of James's arms and successfully pulls guard. KaSolomon will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

KaSolomon had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. James defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
KaSolomon has a closed guard, preventing James from standing up.

James wants to stand but KaSolomon has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
James trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

James seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
James is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
KaSolomon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
KaSolomon has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. James is working away from the top position though.
KaSolomon is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of James's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take James's back!

KaSolomon has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, James has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
James is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at The Highland Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

James defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard.
KaSolomon lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
KaSolomon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

James wants to stand up but KaSolomon is controlling him.

It looks like Massa Hurmaaja has been cut.
Morrison punishes Hurmaaja's body with a nice straight punch.
Hurmaaja dives in for a single leg takedown but Morrison sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Massa Hurmaaja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morrison on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Hurmaaja throws a hook to the side of Morrison's head but Morrison sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Horrible takedown attempt by Hurmaaja or perhaps it was just good defense by Morrison, which made it look bad.
Hurmaaja moves away from the strike by Morrison.

Hurmaaja closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Morrison's guard.

Hurmaaja thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Morrison seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Let's hope that Morrison has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Morrison really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hurmaaja. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Morrison is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hurmaaja.
Morrison slaps away a takedown attempt from Hurmaaja, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Morrison is looking for the big counter here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Massa Hurmaaja. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hurmaaja has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Morrison finds it's way round the side to connect with Hurmaaja's head.

Hurmaaja feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Morrison holds on and takes a little breather.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Morrison can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hurmaaja distracts Morrison with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hurmaaja slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Hurmaaja tries to advance to mount but can't.
Hurmaaja advances to full mount.
Morrison tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Hurmaaja is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Morrison can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Morrison wants to hold on but Hurmaaja pushes him away.
Hurmaaja has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Morrison's face.
Hurmaaja is in the full mount, landing strikes.
