The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torres circles away from the clinch attempt.
Torres is looking for the big counter here. Torres scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Torres has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Torres throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jonathon Torres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Thommer gets a clinch. Torres controlling the action here for a moment.
Thommer is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Torres is defending well. Torres tries to break the clinch but Thommer is controlling the position. Torres prevents Thommer from breaking the clinch. Torres avoids the elbow strike from Thommer, against the cage.

Good anti-grappling being displayed by Thommer as Torres tries to tie him up. Thommer gets control of Torres's arms and successfully pulls guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Torres doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Thommer is tightening it up a little... Kalaway should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jackson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kalaway sprawling to the canvas! Kalaway rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jackson finish him?!
Jackson connects with a nice cross there... Kalaway is looking wobbly and Jackson recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Kalaway to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Jackson jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Van Den Bosh looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Frankzola uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Van Den Bosh. We've been told by Van Den Bosh's head coaches at Lights Out™ ($849 15 Elite Coaches!) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Frankzola throws a head kick but Van Den Bosh moves out of range.

Coholic ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Coholic digs a good body shot into Dinapoli's ribs. Coholic moves out of range of the body kick from Dinapoli.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones throws a right hand that Corleone ducks under and follows up with a left that Corleone also avoids with ease. Corleone misses the shot to the body. It seemed like Jones was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Corleone clinches up with Jones and pushes him back against the cage. Corleone looking to throw knees to the head but Jones is blocking nicely.

Jones has had enough of the clinch but Corleone keeps him there for the moment. Corleone turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Corleone lands an elbow. We've been hearing that Corleone has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Jones has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Corleone cracks Jones with a big elbow. Corleone taking a break here but Jones is having none of it and regains half guard.

Cain Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones punishes Corleone's body with a nice straight punch. Jones throws a lazy right hand but Corleone sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Corleone looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Jones fails to land with a series of punches.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones misses with a wild body shot. Jones looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Jones takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
