Nedkov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Nedkov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Remington comes into the arena with Lily Was Here blaring out of the sound system. Farinola comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Eye of the Tiger kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cassidy tries to keep at a distance but Michael has taken the fight into the clinch.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Cassidy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Michael moves away.
Michael is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Cassidy.
Michael takes a swing at Cassidy's ribcage but misses.
Cassidy lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Cassidy throws a looping overhand right but Michael ducks down to avoid it.

Michael doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Cassidy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Michael sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Cassidy loads up on a big right hand but Michael slips the punch.
Michael wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lachlan Cassidy dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Michael needs to keep his hands up - Cassidy had a free shot at his head there.

Michael takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Oh Michael is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
